🇼🇸 SAMOA TRIP 2K26 | ARRIVAL DAY IN SAVAII! 🌺✈️ We finally arrived safely in Samoa and made our way straight onto the ferry over to Savai’i (Salelologa). It was Kele’s first time in Savai’i and also his first time seeing Nanna Filo’s home 🥹❤️ As always, we were welcomed with so much love by my Fetoai family. Nothing beats being greeted with good vibes, amazing company, and an incredible feed! Of course, I had to enjoy my favourites fresh niu 🥥 and siamiu popo with fresh bread. 😍 Later, we headed to the markets to pick up our puletasi for the upcoming celebrations. While we were there, we couldn’t leave without grabbing some market BBQ plates and those deep-fried chicken buns (so good! 🤤). We also stopped for some delicious ice cream and for only 2.50 tala, you really can’t complain! 🍦 That evening, the family gathered for loku and we had a run-through of the ’ava ceremony ahead of tomorrow. It never ceases to amaze me hearing my little nephews speak our mother tongue so fluently. It makes me so proud. 🥹🇼🇸 To end the day, we all came together to prepare the Fale Samoa for tomorrow’s ceremony.
