However, upon checking in, we found several additional problems that affected not only the A/C, but the overall performance of the vehicle: ⚠ Fault code P0505: Related to the idle control system. ⚠ Check Engine Light on. ⚠ Fan cooling activated when the switch was turned ON. ⚠ Engine overheating. These problems are not directly linked to the air conditioning, but they affect its operation. This is very common in automotive air conditioning repairs, since the A/C system does not work in isolation; it depends on a healthy engine, properly functioning sensors, and a fault-free electrical system.
