Haydar… Haydar… Ever with the truth wherever it resides. They asked me: “By what did you attain victory?” I replied: “Through patience.” For truth can only be carried By steadfast hearts. The worth of a person Is what he masters and perfects, Not what he merely claims Amid the noise of voices. There is no good in a friend without sincerity, Nor in words without action, Nor in a sword without justice, Nor in a victory that betrays hope. Haydar… Haydar… The justice of Allah among creation. Haydar… Haydar… The sword of truth against the oppressors. O world… Deceive someone other than me. I have divorced you three times, With no return thereafter. If I go hungry one day, That is my honor. And if I am fed, Then all praise belongs to Allah for His blessings. How can I be content To be called Commander of the Faithful While among them are those Who sleep without a blanket?
