Facility Aims To Empower Women Entrepreneurs And Grow Uganda’s Savings Culture The Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi, has today launched the operations of a Common User Facility in Lira City supported by the National Social Security Fund to boost livelihoods, skilling and job creation among local communities. The center, which previously relied on manual machines, is now expected to increase production capacity and improve efficiency for women entrepreneurs and youth seeking employment opportunities.
