The Beatles in the Casbah Coffee Club. The Story. Now and then.
A rock and roll music venue in the West Derby area of Liverpool started by Mona Best in the cellar of the family home. The early Beatles painted the decorations inside the basement of the Casbah Coffee Club. Cynthia Powell painted a silhouette of John on the wall of the "star Room". The cellar with its original decorations are still there.
