🎣 Salmon Fishing the Gander River Newfoundland | Part 2 (Epic Day 2 Adventure!) Welcome back to Part 2 of my salmon fishing adventure on the legendary Gander River in Newfoundland! 🇨🇦 After a tough first day where the fish just didn’t want to cooperate, my fishing buddy Mel and I pushed on—camped out along this incredible river and kept exploring a section of the Gander River that was new to us. The Gander River is known as world class river, with thousands of salmon returning each season and anglers traveling from everywhere to experience it —but as any angler knows, it’s not always easy! On Day 2: The salmon were still slow to move and picky on the fly We covered water, tested different techniques, and stayed patient I finally managed to hook into 3 more salmon, landing one and safely releasing another 🎣 That’s what makes this kind of fishing so rewarding—earning every single fish. We also spent more time around Appleton, Newfoundland, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite small towns. Beautiful scenery, great access to the river, and that true Newfoundland vibe you just can’t beat. If you watched Part 1, you know the grind… and this is where it starts to pay off.
