‘Not exactly a victory’: Peace deal leaves Netanyahu looking weak
Former Israeli ambassador to Australia Mark Sofer believes the agreement is far from a victory for Israel and could damage Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at home and abroad. “What we do know is that it’s clearly not exactly a victory for the Netanyahu approach, which will definitely harm him,” Mr Sofer told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “Now that Iran will probably get the way with all, the military and more importantly, the financial way with all. “This is pretty much a short-term victory if at all.”
