The pot-making process at this Pakistani factory demonstrates the technical steps involved in processing scrap metal into finished products. The scrap material is first compressed using a hydraulic press to create a tighter volume, then melted in a high-temperature furnace until it turns into liquid metal. The molten metal is then poured into molds, ground using a rolling mill, cut into plates, then shaped into discs and pressed using a deep drawing press to form the pot body. In the finishing stage, the pot's surface is smoothed using a polishing lathe, scraper, metal sandpaper, and buffing wheels to remove pressure marks and improve surface smoothness. After washing off residual lubricant and metal dust, the handle is attached using a rivet press to secure the joint.
