Transcarpathian region. Carpathians. Highway T-0718 Mizhhiria-Volovets-Nizhni Vorota Mountain road T-0718 is of great local importance, as it connects two regional centers of the Transcarpathian region - Mizhhiria and Volovets, and leads further to the village of Nizhni Vorota. Since 2017, repair work on its 47 km long section has been carried out by the company "ONUR". According to the representative of the general contractor, the work has been repeatedly stopped and resumed due to unstable funding. Over the past time, a new base has been prepared and the first layer of asphalt concrete has been laid on most of the section. Several bridges have also been put in order. Work was carried out from both ends of the section towards each other. Today, the situation has improved and the contractor hopes to finish paving the bottom layer of the entire section and begin laying the final SMA. We caught the work of asphalt paving equipment in the village of Repynne. A few kilometers away from it, towards Volovets, the opposing "streams" of work should merge.
