After all, it’s not like I can write in my personal statement, "I am an expert at getting hurt." But do you know? Career proves who I am, but experience makes me who I am. A person with only experience is like smooth marble; when it rains, the rain simply flows down the surface and rolls away. But a person who has stockpiled a lot of bad experiences absorbs the rainwater deep into their core, like an old tree. So, when you sit beside such a person, you can subtly smell the scent of earth, the scent of rain-soaked trees, and ultimately, the scent of humanity. Keep the successes in your career and celebrate them.
