Pleasure Castle - Sonic Adventure (WILD SHRED GUITAR COVER)

BELL YEAH it's my guitar cover and progressive metal arrangement of one of my favorite themes from Sonic Adventure, "Pleasure Castle" as heard on the Twinkle Park stage. This game's music has a special place in my heart from being the soundtrack to much of my childhood. Nostalgia aside, the composers for the game, particularly Jun Suneou knew how to write the most emotive melodies with some of the most powerful and interesting harmonies (chord progressions) that continue influencing me to this day, and this track is no exception... In my arrangement, I employed a composition technique commonly found in modern progressive/math rock where a melody is developed and "complicated." The melody and harmony are referenced and/or implied while other embellishments are injected around it, creating a rich and "busy" atmosphere where the original melody can still be heard. This is found during the intro solo guitar section, as well as during the second half of the bridge. TL;DR : BELLLLLLLLLLLLL Also, proudly representing my Somecallmejohnny shirt.
