The drive follows the Teesta River and enters Sikkim via Jorethang. ​Evening: Arrive at Okhrey, a quiet Sherpa village. Visit the Ugen Thon Meon Ling Monastery or take a village walk to acclimatize. ​Overnight: Homestay in Okhrey. ​Day 2: Okhrey to Barsey (Trek) & Return to Okhrey or stay in Barsey ​Activity: Drive 10 km to Hilley (the entry point).
