Handmade teddy bears are not just toys. When you're sewing and stuffing, you inevitably start thinking about life. How much softness, how much weight? Too soft — and it bends under any pressure. Too heavy — and you can't really hold it. Same with children. I'm an artist of handmade collectible teddy bears with almost 10 years of experience. And I'm one of those they call boomers — the generation that traumatises their kids. The nineties. Empty shelves. A child at home while I go out and scrape together food. Every choice I made was real. My daughter is already a mother herself. She barely calls. I used to think — I didn't give enough. Now I think — she doesn't call, means she's managing.
