QUESTA GRAVEL CON FORCELLA AMMORTIZZATA CI PORTA DAPPERTUTTO

We went to test the new 3T Bike Ultra² Italia in the place we believe best suits them: the Asiago Plateau. We chose a very challenging route, starting and finishing in Gallio and winding through Melette, Piana di Marcesina, the Ortigara area, Bivio Italia, the Portule area, Campo Gallina, Galmarara, and Val di Nos. The trail is heavily unpaved (about 90%) and in some sections very rough, making it perfect terrain for testing a gravel bike with a suspension fork. Route: 56km x 1600m Recommended bike: with suspension fork Other tips: This is not a gravel route. There are few fountains, so bring water. The weather is very changeable in summer in these areas. Make the most of the morning and bring a rain jacket. For 10-15km in the highest part of the route, you'll be riding in wild areas with poor cell phone coverage. Make sure you have a good repair kit. On these types of routes/areas, it's a good idea to ride with a companion. You can find the track on our komoot profile "Gravellata," under Completed Tours.
