A truce agreement was signed between the Tarawneh and Zuhairi clans following the hit-and-run accident involving Ghaith Tarawneh. Karak – A distinguished delegation, headed by Sheikh Muhammad Awlad Issa Al-Falouji, Chairman of the Council of the Sons of Al-Falouja Tribes, and including a large gathering of national and tribal figures from across the Kingdom, visited the encampment of the Tarawneh family in the Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi district of Al-Manshiyya town in Karak Governorate on Friday evening. They were received by a large gathering of members of the Tarawneh clan, including Sheikh Jasser Tarawneh, Haj Mahmoud Salim Tarawneh, Sheikh Awad Khalif Tarawneh, Sheikh Younis Tarawneh, Dr. Issa Tarawneh, Professor Muhammad Awad Tarawneh, and Professor Ayman Tarawneh. Atwa (a traditional truce) agreement was signed between the Tarawneh and Zuhairi clans. A one-month truce was granted by the Tarawneh clan following a traffic accident in which young Ghaith Muhammad Ali Tarawneh was struck by a vehicle driven by Yazan Raafat Muhammad Al-Zuhairi, a resident of the Giza district. The injured man's family retains all legal, tribal, and judicial rights until his full recovery, as stipulated in the truce agreement signed by prominent national and tribal figures from both sides. Sheikh Muhammad Awlad Issa Al-Falouji, a lawyer, thanked the prominent national and tribal figures from the Tarawneh clan for their warm welcome and hospitality in Karak Governorate. He stated, "This delegation has come to our people in Karak, the city of glory and civilization, to check on Ghaith Muhammad Ali Tarawneh, for whom we pray for a full recovery, God willing. We hope you will grant us a truce, and the delegation is prepared to comply with all your requests. This is God's will and decree, and there is no repelling God's decree. God says, 'Those who restrain anger and forgive people - and God loves the doers of good.'" Sheikh Mohammed Awlad Issa added, "We learn from the school of the Hashemites, who taught us forgiveness, tolerance, solidarity, and compassion. Therefore, we have come to the generous, kind, chivalrous, and helpful people of Karak and the honorable Tarawneh tribe. We acknowledge your demands and are ready to fulfill them in a way that pleases you and brings you peace of mind." For his part, Sheikh Jasser Tarawneh (Abu Bahjat), speaking on behalf of the Tarawneh clan, in the presence of prominent tribal and national figures from the Tarawneh clan and the people of Karak, graciously granted a one-month tribal truce, acknowledging the injury and pledging to cover all medical expenses until the complete recovery of the injured Ghaith Mohammed Ali Tarawneh. We pray to God Almighty for his recovery, asking Him to grant him health and well-being and return him to his family safe and sound. Sheikh Jasser Tarawneh welcomed the esteemed delegation of national and tribal leaders from across the Kingdom, saying, "We are honored to have you among your people in Karak Governorate. We uphold our Jordanian customs and traditions, which we cherish, and which strive to reconcile people and maintain social harmony for the stability and security of this noble nation, its people, and its wise Hashemite leadership." For his part, Sheikh Mohammed Awlad Issa Al-Falouji, a lawyer, thanked the Tarawneh tribesmen for their generosity and warm welcome. He added, "This is deeply appreciated and respected. The delegation thanked the Tarawneh tribe and the people of Karak for their generosity in granting a truce, acknowledging their wrongdoing, in honor of God, His Messenger, His Majesty the King, and the esteemed delegation. They emphasized that communication between Jordanian tribes is a cornerstone of Jordanian society, ensuring its safety and stability. This generosity, forgiveness, and tolerance are inspired by the head of the Hashemite family, His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect and preserve him. Several prominent national and tribal figures accompanying the delegation affirmed the importance of these mediation efforts in resolving tribal disputes.
