Laser Cut Leather Burnt Edges Test: What Actually Works?

I tested what actually works for reducing burnt edges and burnt smell when laser cutting leather with a 10W diode laser. In this video, I test a raised honeycomb grid, a laser air pump, masking tape, water, baking soda, salt, and fresh air. Some methods helped. Some internet tips did absolutely nothing. The best results came from raising the honeycomb grid and using a laser air pump. Lightly dampening the leather also helped reduce the smell.
