Nong Khiaw Viewpoint: Phadeng Hill hike, Laos

Nong Khiaw is a beautiful town in the Luang Prabang province in Norther Laos, only 3-4 hours away from Luang Prabang itself. To get the best view of the Nam Ou River that would join the mighty Mekong, as well as the town, a hike up Phadeng is essential! The hike isn't long, taking about 1.5 hours up and 1 hour down. I couldn't find a lot of information online so I decided to vlog about my hike up - despite having to wake up at 5am and sweating like a pig.
