The installation of the cross, 12m high, 8.5m wide and weighing 3800kg, was carried out by the helicopter unit of the Serbian Army 890.mhe - "Pegazi" with a Mi17-V5 helicopter, and for that unique feat they were awarded the Order of the White Angel. This is the result of many years of effort and commitment of the Committee for the installation of the Holy Cross from Prijepolje, with the blessing of the Serbian Orthodox Church, who, with the help of the locals, the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, brave fitters-alpinists from FIMS and Telemontaza, managed to place the Holy Cross on a high place on Titerovac hill. above the Mileseva monastery.
