How to Fail a Shonen Character. Sakura Haruno is called useless by a large section of the Naruto fandom. She started very weak and only served as a support character in part 1, which is understadable. Characters need growth. In Naruto Shippuden, she had an amazing fight against Sasori, and then she disappeared. Sakura was wasted for the rest of the story, there some glimpses of what could have been with her relationship with Naruto and Sasuke but nothing too great.
