The last seedlings finally went in. Then it rained, again. Three days this week. One finishing what I'd been putting off in the garden, one stuck inside while the sky made the decision for me, and one back out in the sun tending the tomatoes that had been quietly getting out of hand. I learned what tomato suckers are. I dug wells around the beds. The dog supervised.
