THE OBSESSED (US) Rehearsal/Demo for "The Church Within" album. I got this tape via someone "in the know" in 1994, who knew & worked with loads of the then "Doom" bands. So what we have here is a 4 track rehearsal recording which was submitted to Columbia records to keep them abrest of what kind of material was gonna appear on the "Church Within" album. Most of the tracks of that album appear here, albeit in Embryonic form (some even with unfinished/different lyrics). There's some very old Obsessed material on here too, that got re-recorded but didn't appear on the album. As far as i know, these recordings haven't seen the light of day & remain unreleased. 11 tracks in 36 minutes. Restored & mastered from a shabby 23 year old cassette tape.
