CittaSlow Perşembe. Sakin Şehir Öyküleri Belgeseli. (12. Bölüm)
Slow down, you are in Thursday! Slow City Stories Documentary is a documentary series that tells the stories of the cities in Turkey that have received the CittaSlow title. The twelfth episode of Slow City Stories, Turkey's most comprehensive Slow City (CittaSlow) documentary, features Thursday. First of all, we would like to thank the CittaSlow Turkey team for their support of this documentary. We would like to thank the Perşembe Municipality for hosting us very well. Also, many thanks to all the people of Perşembe who contributed, whose names are written below and who are not. We will tell you Slow City stories. Stories of slow cities. We will tell you about Perşembe. A magnificent Black Sea city that has received the title of Slow City, and deserves it to the fullest; with Cape Jason, Beetroot Soup, incredible beaches, and warm people. The calm harbor of the wild Black Sea, Perşembe, is a city that truly deserves the title of Cittaslow. After passing through the Bolaman bends, you arrive at a magnificent coastal town, a wonderful geography with smiling people and magnificent food. There are wonderful fishing stories in this city. There is an incredible harmony between the people living by the sea and the people living in the villages. It has clean streams, a wonderful air, very delicious whiting and anchovy. There is Cape Jason and Hoynat Island, you cannot get enough of them. Of course, not only Perşembe but all the people of the Black Sea have very nice conversations. They are cheerful, you can laugh heartily, they do not think evil. “If you do not eat walnut halva after eating whiting, how will the fish know that it is dead?” they say, and when they believe that you are fully satisfied, they throw you from the table. We had such a delicious Beet Soup that we could not believe it. As a documentary team that travels all over the country for CittaSlow documentaries, we can assure you that this is one of the best black cabbage soups you can drink. Perşembe, which was apparently founded by Greek sailors, is still known by its old name by the people living there. Although there is some confusion about the meaning of the name Vona, this is a true cittaslow city. It is a city of truly calm, truly happy people. They cannot find the pleasure of drinking tea while watching the sea from the balconies of their houses built far from each other on the hillsides overlooking the sea. We are learning a lot while shooting this documentary. As we expand our vision of Slow City Stories, we meet new people and see new places. You really need more than a few days to get to know Perşembe. Even talking to its people and listening to their stories would take months. Researching its history, walking on its beaches, tasting its fish are all part of the story. When traveling in the Black Sea, definitely follow the old road after Fatsa and do not continue without seeing Perşembe. Because if you do not see Perşembe, you have not seen the Black Sea in its entirety. If you pass by without eating whiting or anchovy, walnut halva and beet soup, it will be incomplete. If you don't see Jason, Hoynat Island, and sunbathe at Çaka Beach, the tour will be incomplete. Let us tell you.
