We are in the midst of a brutal heat wave here in rural eastern Pennsylvania, with several days in the low 100's and night time low's in the 80's. So I thought I would reach into my field recording archive from the end of last October on a cool night. This recording features crickets whirring and chirping, and you can hear a breeze blowing as well through the leaves left on the trees.
