Man Who Lived Alone on a Remote Island
In 1952, Tom Neale, a 50 year old man from New Zealand lived alone on Suwarrow Island, a remote island in the south pacific Ocean. He didn't get stranded on the isolated island, instead he chose to lived there. He survived by eating fish, fruits and vegetables. In total, on and off, he lived in isolation for 16 years.
