Non-Contact Huaorani Tribe Wars

In second episode of our Amazonian expedition Dmytro and Oleksandr, along with local guides, traveled through impenetrable jungle tributaries of the Amazon to the remotest village of the Huoarani Indigenous tribes - Bameno. The team's route takes them through the territory of non-contact tribes, where any stop - even for a few minutes - can lead to death. Finding the non-contact tribes of Ecuador is a cherished dream of many explorers from around the world, but getting close to them is almost impossible, they kill anyone who sets foot on their lands without warning. The brutal tradition of blood feuds was thought to be over, until a real civil war between clans broke out in the Ecuadorian jungle in 2013. The Waorani elders in contact with the civilized world slaughtered an entire village of non-contact. Dozens of people died then. They manage to go to places where a man has never set a foot. Dmytro himself creates the route, learns the features of the new place in advance and tries to survive on his own in the practical primitive conditions. But the real thing is that he is actually trying to get used to the role of the natives, not just like a stranger but as part of the team, actively trying new crafts and ways of getting food, learning the local traditions and laws. Dmytro and Oleksandr have visited more than 20 countries, and without a doubt these were not passing journeys but thorough cultural studies. #Ecuador #worldinsideout #Huaorani
