Her 1997 album "Homogenic" is an alternative music classic, that showcases her avant-garde vocal phrasing and fearless experimentation. Joga was the first single released from that album. Joga has long been one of my favorite songs. My band, New Invisible Joy, first formed in 1997, the same year that Homogenic was released.
