Sunset&Twilight: Crossing the Line

I haven't really discussed the Tangled show on this channel before, so I thought now was a good time. I loved the first season of Tangled, but hated the second. And the main reason why I hated the second season was Cassandra. I'm sorry, but I think her character as a 'villain' is just someone whining because she doesn't get what she wants, despite the fact she hasn't worked hard enough yet. The show tries to spin it to be that Cassandra is seen as an "outcast" but she's hardly been shown in that light ever. Her motivations as a villain just come across as someone whining because they didn't put the work they needed into getting what they want. But, I do love this song! This song, to me anyways, actually fits Twilight and Sunset better than it does Rapunzel and Cassandra. Sunset was very much like Cassandra when she was a villain: someone who wanted something despite not being ready and not working for it. MLP however, showed Sunset as being vain and selfish and only gave her a sympathetic role when her redemption came into play. Sunset, as a villain, works extremely well for this song! I played around with the story for this video. In this AU, Sunset and Twilight both trained under Celestia at the same time. They were really close, until Celestia chose Twilight to be a Princess and not Sunset. Fueled by jealousy, Sunset steals Twilight's crown and takes it to another world to hide it. Twilight chases her down for the crown, but the crown being in the human world has corrupted the magic, and turns Sunset into a she-demon. I'm going to upload a Halloween video, then we can start our set! The big video I mentioned before is taking a while, so I'll upload it in the midst of the next PMV set.
