#Beverwijkbazaar #beverwijkmarket #halalmarket Every weekend up to 80,000 bargain hunters flock to the covered De Bazaar Beverwijk, one of Europe’s largest ethnic markets with 2000-plus vendors and 69 food stalls. Piled high are Arabian spices, Turkish rugs, garments, handcrafted ornaments and much more. The liveliest of the three biggest halls is the Zwarte Markt, an enormous flea market with a carnival atmosphere. Parking (per day €5) becomes a problem after 9.30am. Trains run from Amsterdam Centraal (€5.90, 40 minutes, every 30 minutes) and Haarlem (€3.20, 20 minutes, up to four hourly) to Beverwijk, from where it's a 1km walk or three-minute trip aboard bus 76 (every 30 minutes).
