Kosovo - Aid finally reaches refugees

(20 Aug 1998) T/I: 11:02:27 After several failed attempts, seven trucks carrying humanitarian aid managed to get through to the Decani area of Kosovo on Thursday (20/8). The aid was unloaded by Albanian volunteers working for the local aid organisation, Mother Teresa. The area is fully controlled by the KLA and locals need special KLA passes to travel around.
