October 14th was the second day of the city's autumn festivals in Doi and Kawanoe. Kakikura competitions and unified yose were held in various locations, and the excitement among kakika artists and spectators reached its peak. At the Furusato Square on the banks of the Sekigawa River, a unified kakikura competition was held, with kakika artists working in unison to raise their taiko floats with all their might. The winner was the Kabusaki Taiko Float, which received thunderous applause for its impressive presentation. At the FamilyMart Doi store, a kakikura competition was held between four taiko floats: Kobayashi, Fujiwara, Tsune, and Yokaichi. Each float put on a passionate performance, and after audience voting and judging, the Kobayashi Taiko Float was crowned the winner. In the Kawanoe area, unified yose was held among the four districts of Kanebu, Kaneda, Kamibun, and Medori. Additionally, a Kawanoe District Unified Gathering was held at Kawanoe Nigiwai Square, featuring 12 taiko floats and children's taiko drums. The festival reached its climax with the addition of a Sekibune boat and a lion dance. A night taiko parade was held in the Kanebu district.
