Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. ●Transportation: Direct flights are available from Türkiye to Tashkent. Within the country, there is a modern bus network, high-speed trains (Afrosiyob), and domestic flights. Taxis and car rental options are also common. ●Accommodation: Various hotel options are available in cities like Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara. You can also try the traditional "mехmonхona" (guesthouse). ●Food and Drink: Be sure to try local delicacies like "Plov" (pilaf), "Shashlik" (shaved meat), and "Samarkand non" (bread). Tea culture is quite widespread, and we definitely recommend drinking traditional tea. ●Currency: The currency of Uzbekistan is the Som. International credit cards and currency exchange offices are widely accepted. For cash withdrawals, you can use bank branches. ●Places to Visit: Registan Square in Samarkand, historical sites in Bukhara, modern architecture in Tashkent, and the city of Khiva are must-sees. ●Culture: The Silk Road heritage, rich handicrafts, and hospitality are key characteristics of Uzbekistani culture. You can examine traditional "chapan" (caftan) clothing and handmade decorations. Language: The official language is Uzbek. Russian is also widely spoken. English is increasingly common in major cities. SIM Card: Ucell, Beeline, and UMS operators are available. Tourist SIM cards provide internet and calling services at affordable prices. Tips: The best times to travel are April-May and September-October. Summer temperatures can be very high. Internet and electricity access may be limited in rural areas.
