Creators are now dying on camera because they stage themselves in increasingly extreme ways or are attacked by criminals. The tragic death of the well-known Kick streamer Jean Pormanove, aka Raphaël Graven, has ruthlessly exposed the mechanisms behind this. But how did it get to this point, with content becoming ever more extreme and blatant? This video sheds light on how the attention economy, the pressure from platforms like Kick, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as the viewer community, are leading to a spiral of self-destruction. We discuss other horrifying cases, such as the deaths of Mukbang streamer Pan Xiaoting, TikToker Efecan Kultur, and US influencer Taylor Brice LeJeune ("Waffler69"). Even murders are happening on live streams: Venezuelan TikToker Gabriel Jesús Sarmiento and Japanese streamer Airi Sato died in front of their fans. All these tragic events show how dangerous it can be when the greed for clicks and audience interaction lead to fatal consequences. This video asks: What responsibility do the platforms, the algorithm, and, above all, we, the viewers, bear? From trash streams and mukbang to deadly challenges: Learn why death is becoming entertainment in live streams. Source list: https://text.is/XJJKL Thanks for tuning in and see you next time!
