Wild Camping & a Trangia Masterclass at Gunnerside Gill, the Yorkshire Dales
Having parked at Rukin’s farm campsite in Keld, I hiked to the abandoned Lead Mines at Gunnerside Gill via Swinner Gill, where I pitched my Mountain Laurel Designs Duomid behind the ruins of a stone building. When is was time for dinner, I cooked lamb steaks in red wine and balsamic vinegar on my Trangia stove. A fantastic pitch in spectacular surroundings, I hope you enjoy watching.
