Acheron and Tiernan 1 - among the meaningless Rain |Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Story

The old man shares a story about the pathbearers. Like sailors among oceans, they all leave behind trail that creates endless ripples of possibilities lasting longer than the fleeing lifetimes of humans. Those shadowy hands. The sin thirsters, emerging from within the depths of IX the face of Emptiness itself, believe they are the master of their own destiny unwittingly repeating the actions of their past live. emerging from emptiness and seeking emptiness, a purposeless lives. They all were once a group of Galaxy Rangers. But naught remains them, only one survivor who guides them over their transcendence. remanants of brutal war that shook across the stars and galaxies. The unwavering determination of the hunt persist even in death. They are heroes but now they are puppets of nihility. Acheron offers her help. In giving meaning amongst the nihility. The old man complies in gratitude. Within the vain and the hopeless soaking the forever hopeful yet lost shadow thirsters, Acheron ponders one thing If this is what the departed ones expected, should we try to change it?
