These days, radio amateurs who operate power amplifiers, despite having the appropriate license, seem to be only a small fringe group in amateur radio – often misunderstood by newcomers, QRP enthusiasts, and sometimes even hated because they are very critical of power amplifier use. Instead of judging power amplifiers by their power consumption or their pros and cons, this video is primarily about having fun with them – right? Is that really outdated these days?
