singapore's BRAND NEW mandai rainforest wild is EVEN BETTER than we imagined! // brand new zoo park!

Mandai have expanded their park and have added the new Rainforest Wild: Asia and we got to have a sneak peek before it officially opens on March 12th, and that means you get to see it too. This park isn't like the others. As the name suggests it is a lot more wild! You'll still find boardwalks to make it accessible but off those boardwalks is where you are really immersed in the rainforest and able to look for animals at all levels and aspects of a real rainforest. We loved walking alongside rivers and feel the plants brush against us as we explored as if we really were in the wild. We crossed streams by crossing over fallen logs and hopped over big rocks to get from one place to the next. At one turn we came fae to face with some of the wildlife in the rainforest. The sun bear was having a snack of frozen fruits as we wandered through the rainforest, with no cages in front it really felt like we stumbled upon the bear in it's natural surroundings. Our favourite aspect was the cave! It felt cool like a real cave and was dark with sounds of dripping water from stalactites high above our heads. Milo even commented that it smelled like a real cave. It was super impressive. This park has an even wilder side if you're feeling adventurous. You can get harnessed up and go rock climbing and cross elevated bridges, crawl through caves and even take a jump from a 13 meter or 20 meter platform! This park has a lot for the whole family to enjoy and ways to push yourself to perhaps try new things. Come into the wild of Asia with us.
