What do you need? -Fabric for your pants or skirt -Fabric for the pockets -Sewing machine -Yarn -Scissors -Pins -iron Getting Started! -Cut the pattern pieces for your pants or skirt from the fabric. -Cut the pattern pieces for the pockets from the fabric. -Pin the pocket pieces to the right side of the pants or skirt pieces, in the places indicated. -Sew the pocket pieces to the pant or skirt pieces with an English seam.( see video). -Open the seams. -Fold the pocket pieces inward and iron them flat. -Sew the sides of the pockets together. -Fold the pockets flat. -Finish the top of the pockets with a zigzag stitch or an overlock stitch.
