Young Louane and her grandfather René, a farmer based in Caraman, a moving relationship. I'm filming them here in a milling wheat field near my house, in the hot air. René drives his New Holland TF42 from the early 1990s, and Louane is in charge of transporting the grain to the local cooperative's silo. Our interviewee, a recent graduate of the Lavaur agricultural high school, intends to pursue a career in agriculture. "I still have everything to learn," she tells me, adding that her grandfather is the pivot of the family and an expert in the field.
