October by Deadmau5 Whats up everyone! I'm back again with some more Deadmau5 for all of you. I recently picked up his new album and this was one of the tracks that really stood out to me - it's repetitiveness is really tastefully done in a minimalistic manner and I really wanted to capture that trance-inducing feel in my arrangement (harkening to Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and other great minimalistic composers). Of course, I had to go somewhat crazy with it (right?!), so I threw some crazy fast octaves leaps in for good measure. Hope you have as much fun listening as I had playing this one!
