Lets talk about Dry Plate Tintypes | Film Photography | Large Format Photography

I am super excited to share a brand new Video with you where I discuss my recent endeavours to make Dry Plate Tintypes commercially available. Dry Plate Tintypes are very similar to a more well known Wet Plate version. The main difference and advantage of Dry Plate Tintypes is that they are coated with Silver Gelatine emulsion which is then dried and therefore plates can be used for months and developed whenever you desire.
