Tata Steel's TV Narendran talks decomissioning and elections
Tata Steel Group's CEO and Managing Director, Mr TV Narendran, has again visited the Port Talbot site to see the progress of the decommissioning work on the Coke Ovens and to understand better the plans for the rest of the Heavy End. During his time on site, Mr Narendran also visited the Blast Furnaces and Energy department. Tata Steel UK's Head of Public Relations, Tim Rutter, caught up with Mr Narendran on top of the Coke Ovens battery to discuss decommissioning, financial results, the recent National Grid announcement and the ongoing discussions with the trades unions.
