Video Summary: Removing the door trim and removing the manual window regulator: Remove the manual window regulator handle; Remove the door handle trim; Remove the two screws underneath; Remove the lower door panel; Lift up and remove the door panel; Disconnect the door lock cable; Secure the window in the up position to prevent it from falling; Drill out the four rivets securing the manual window regulator; Attach the handle and turn it clockwise to open the window regulator mechanism; Remove it from the door. Installing the power window regulator in the car door: Drill two holes with a 7mm drill bit according to the diagram in the manual; Lower the window to approximately the middle of the opening; Insert the latch on the window regulator carriage into the window frame; Align the lower window regulator pin with the lower drilled hole in the door and tighten the nut; Align the hole in the upper window regulator bracket with the upper hole in the door and secure it with the screw and nut; Apply power to the window regulator using the temporary wiring diagram and test its operation. To connect the window regulators, we use our own wiring kit: A driver's door harness with a switch block for both windows; And a passenger door harness with a switch. We're running the electrical wiring through the door. The black wire is ground. It's connected to the car body. The white wire is power, +12 V. The yellow-green wire is the switch backlight and is connected to the parking light circuit. We install decorative plugs into the openings of the manual window lift handles.
