Eric the Car Guy is here! He's visiting TRQ to explain check engine codes to you! In this video, Eric the Car Guy checks out codes P0455, P0456, and P0442. These codes have to do with leaks in the EVAP (Evaporative) system in your vehicle. The EVAP system collects fuel vapors from the gas tank, and stores them until they can be circulated into the engine to be burned. The system involves several valves and solenoids that can malfunction, leading to leaks. These codes tell you what part of the system is experiencing these problems.
