MoS Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary responds to ₹99 Lakh farm subsidy report, denies wrongdoing

Responding to reports that his own ministry granted him a ₹99 lakh subsidy for his cucumber farm, Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary said he had nothing to hide and had applied for the subsidy in 2018 like thousands of other farmers. Calling himself a lifelong farmer, he said all details of the loans and subsidies are publicly displayed at his farm, which also serves as a training centre where he teaches farmers modern agricultural techniques and natural farming.
