Although originally from Melilla, he considers himself from La Mancha due to his upbringing in Albacete, which has significantly influenced his comedic style. He began his artistic career at age 14, participating in various theatrical productions. At 17, he founded his own theater company, where he premiered three plays he wrote and directed. Simultaneously, he studied Law at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and trained at the Royal Higher School of Dramatic Art in Madrid. Goyo has worked with theater companies like La Fura dels Baus and has performed in plays by classic and contemporary authors. His popularity grew thanks to his participation in television programs like "El Club de la Comedia," where he stood out for his monologues about the cultural differences between Spain and the United States.
