Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 1805 E. Sierra Pkwy in Casa Grande, Arizona. Our encouragement today stems from our sermon text, recorded in Romans chapter five. The Apostle Paul tells us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. That is wonderful news. The love of God does not depend on how well we obey. God loves us because he loves us. God loves us because of who he is, not because of who we are. This is so important to know because we are sinners. But in spite of our sin, his loving arms are still open. This is not an excuse to sin. But it is a comfort to know that, when we realize our sin and return to the Lord, he will not turn us away.
