The Retekess TR605 AM FM Shortwave rechargeable radio is an excellent radio for FM and your local AM stations. The shortwave begs for a better band spread, but alas we must wait. The big surprise is the replaceable 18650 battery and a flashlight that is serious in power. Features I like about this radio: FM Reception is above average. Great Sound quality from the on board speaker. Headphone experience is solid. AM Reception is good for locals and semi locals. 18650 Battery that is replaceable. Great thinking here. Flashlight is amazingly bright and useful. Quality materials. Easy to use. Easy to read Dial. Features that could be added or improved on: Tuning LED Indicator. Add FM Stereo for headphones. Include expanded Shortwave bands, 2.3-8MHz. Overall, a decent value for the money.
