“La menopausia es tiempo de sabiduría”: Antonia Agreda | Las Menopáusicas
In this episode, we are joined by Antonia Agreda, a woman with an extraordinary story. A linguist, writer, university professor, and leader of the Inga indigenous people, she has dedicated her life to strengthening intercultural education and preserving the knowledge of native peoples. She was the first indigenous woman in Colombia to earn a doctorate and the first from her community to become governor of the Inga Council of Bogotá, breaking numerous glass ceilings along the way. These and many other reflections permeate this conversation between Antonia Agreda and Las Menopáusicas: Yolanda Ruiz and María Elvira Samper.
