candy GVS167T3 - white 40 L2 (temporary machines S2E1)

here is the second temporary machine - a candy GVS167T3 7kg 1600rpm from early 2019. this is just a board attached to the smartpro, with a different door lock, door and motor. this machine tumbles both ways during sensing, but always tumbles clockwise after refills. i prefer this to the newer monodirectional sensing as it is far less likely to ball things up. this also has 2-step sensing, being a 2019 model. heating begins as soon as it finishes sensing. these late 2010s models were much less water efficient than the later models in the 2020s. the main wash isn't much different, but the difference can be seen clearly during rinses. this seems to have longer rinses than the smartpro. the machine activates the high speed relay at ~650rpm, just like smartpro. although the interms are still 800 with a 700rpm limit, at this point. 875rpm hadn't been introduced yet. notice how different the ceset motor sounds compared to the welling motor. it's not as smooth and not as pleasant to the ears in some ways. however, i do still like it, it just takes some getting used to. please note that i was speculating about the brushes being the reason behind some of candy's motors going very loud. i proved this theory correct, as you can see in a few of smartpro's most recent videos. the 1200 hold on the final spin is more like 1250rpm. whereas on my other candy-made machines, it has been closer to 1200rpm. okay, people have talked about candy lying about the speed on their 1600 models before and i didn't believe it, to be honest with you. because i know how the community can be sometimes. but, i stand corrected on this. because this machine's idea of "1600rpm", is actually 1375rpm. this is a mere 3rpm faster than my 1400rpm smartpro reaches. bear in mind that these were sold for a higher price than the equivalent 1400 models, only for them to do the same speed as them. this is perhaps some of the worst false advertising i have seen. candy were blatantly scamming consumers in the mid-late 2010s. i know that the 2020s brushless 1600 models actually reach a lot closer to 1600. i would like to try one in future to find out its exact speed. also, please excuse rattling on the final spin - i dropped a screw in the base of the machine and it was rattling around due to the vibration. i removed this when i converted the machine back to smartpro. energy usage for this cycle was 0.730kWh. 00:00:00 - introduction, loading, adding detergent, selecting cycle 00:04:42 - start and initial drain 00:05:00 - sensing 00:09:51 - sense 1 00:12:24 - sense 2; main wash with fast tumbles 01:11:03 - first intermediate spin 800rpm 01:17:09 - first rinse 01:23:34 - second intermediate spin 800rpm 01:30:10 - softener rinse 01:37:20 - final spin "1600rpm" (1400rpm) 01:50:43 - waiting for door to unlock 01:52:24 - end, unloading and results
