Assisting Justice Involved Veterans

In this 4.5 minute video VA Secretary Erik Shinseki speaks to his and the VA's dedication to those Veterans with involvement in the criminal justice system. Secretary Shinseki highlights the prior commitment that each of these Veterans made to their country and the fact that though all began in the same way, the course of events for some has led them into the justice system and other related problems. He further emphasizes that it is in fact our responsibility to reach out and help these Veterans as we strive to insure that 'no Veteran is left behind.' The video concludes with Veterans Justice Program National Director Dr. James McGuire extending an invitation to Veterans and families of Veterans to take full advantage of available VA services.
